I knew they weren't waterproof when I bought them but figured if it was raining I'd just wear a coat with a hood when out walking. When it's raining heavily, my hood gets slightly damp and then when it touches the right side headphone as I walk it activates the touch controls causing the music to pause, or skip tracks etc. as if though i was touching the headphone randomly with my finger.
