WH1000-XM4 constant noise in left earcup

Hi,

I recently updated my WH1000-XM4 to the latest available version and since the update I do have a constant white noise on my left earcup when noise cancelling is active. This never happened before and they were really quiet.

I'd agree that white noise is normal for noise cancelling, but this is constant, even when playing audio and it causes me noticeable pain in my ear.

I never had this issue before, also resetting the headphones did not work.

I wonder if anyone here has the same problem and/or knows a solution?
