Sony Wh-Xb900n picking up my own voice & surrounding sound during phone calls

Hi,

If anyone else noticed: while using this headphone during call, I hear my own sound or surrounding sound in all the modes - NC and Ambient sound? This feels weird because I would like to hear the voice clear but the sounds from outside gets picked up and I cannot focus just on voice of other person.

Is there any fix or it is something the nature of these headphones?

It doesn't matter where I am.

This effect is so clear when like I am listening a song and I press dial to call Someone. It's something I noticed even with the demo headset at the store. I thought it was prob with that headset. But looks like it's a feature of this headset or so?? Is it meant to be to make the user aware of surrounding.. don't know.

Hi,

I'm not having this issue but don't know how to create a new query so jumping in here and hoping someone can help.

I bought the WH-XB900n headphones a couple of weeks back mainly to use for work related calls. The sound is really good - but one thing I would like to be able to do is go on Mute when not speaking on a call. Is this possible with these headphones?
