I'd say try resetting the system to default settings using the below steps (from the Manual):

1- Disconnect and reconnect the AC power cord, and then turn on the system.
2- Press and hold STOP and ON/OFF on the unit for 2 seconds or longer until “RESET” appears.

**All user-configured settings, such as preset radio stations, timer, and the clock, are deleted.
