Hello. My hifi system makes some clicking noise and keeps on going into standby mode. I think the tape has some issue and i want to disable the tape so i can play usb or cd. Please assit. Thanks.

I'd say find the nearest Sony service centre to your location and take the system for inspection. Judging by the age of the device, it may be tricky to find the parts for a repair.
