I have the above device ,I like the device but I wonder if other users have any problems with obtaining compatible Microphones for the Karaoke function ,as I can’t get a microphone with Sony specs of 1mv sensitivity and 10 kilo ohms impedance ,never mind whether Dynamic or Condenser or what other types of mics ,Sony’s support take on this is woeful as they don’t make Microphones and do not recommend third party microphones ,which to me is a total passing the Buck ,manuals or poor at the very least,can anyone please tell me what they are using with HMC devices and similar ,I’ve had less than a month ,and getting frustrated ,Dave

Hey there,

From what I can see it doesn't really specify a specific power output for the mic, only 6φ. Which means that you need to use a mic with a plug between 6mm and 6.3mm which you can find easily.
