DSC-S930 won't work properly??

Hi I'm new.

I have a dsc-s930 that won't work properly, it was working fine all morning.

Went to use it and a message came up on the screen saying to turn off and on again, everytime I turned it off and on again the same message came up.

It will now let me look at taken pictures on the screen, but if I switch it to camera mode the on/off message comes up or it whirrs a bit, the lense comes out and the picture on the screen is really blurry, it gets clearer if you zoom right out.

anyone any ideas or is it knackered??

Hi bananamum, welcome to the Sony Forums.

That doesn't sound right at all, as if the lens barrel has become mis-aligned.

I'd recommend contacting Sony Support; hopefully they'll be able to advise as to the specific fault and help you with a repair.
