Blutooth intermittent after VPCEB2C5E upgrade to Win 8.1

I have just updated my VPCEB2C5E to windows 8.1. I installed all the correct drivers acording to the Sony 8.1 upgrade. However my Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook mouse 5000 stops responding ever 5 or so minutes. I have looked on the Microsoft website which says it is compatable.

I reloaded the EP0000309825 Bluetooth driver Atheros 8.1 but it still happens. I see if i can install another blutooth mouse to see if that cures it?

Anyone else had a simular problem/cure?

Well after extensive searching it looks like the Atheros 8.1 driver is to blame. On a seperate posting it advised to install the 8.0 Atheros driver to cure the problem here is the link.

uninstall the 8.1 driver and then re-boot and Install the 8.0.0.230 version.

I did try the sony 8.1 driver version but did not cure the problem.

The only other issue i have ocassionally is VC system restarting?
