I can't find drivers for my laptop PCG-6112m

I can't find drivers for my laptop PCG-6112m.

I want to register my old laptop and find drivers, but site says my that it can't find this laptop. There are just 3 models.

Why?

So, maybe I can find my laptop for sn? or something else?

I tried to look for on DE Sony. But site says that I can't sign in for UK account? WHY???

Can you help me to find drivers for my laptop?

Hi Der_Clown and welcome.

You are using the wrong model type - you are using the chassis type common to a whole series of Vaios. Have a look here:-

Your Vaio is a Z-Series laptop and the correct Vaio Model will be something like VGN-Z21XN. Here is a link to the Support and Downloads web page for the VGN-Z21XN as an example - this is probably not your exact model so you do need to find the correct model name for your Vaio:

So, How can I find my model?

I found the model type on the backcover.

Maybe, I can check for SN? What is the model of my laptop?

There is no way for me to identify your Model - you will need to find it.yourself - It will start VGN-Zxxxx or SVZ1311xxx or possible VPCZxxxxxx

1. Look on the screen surround - the model is often on the plastic surrounding the screen (bottom right?) or above the keyboard.

2. Open 'Vaio Control Centre from the 'Start' Button' - Your Vaio model will be found in 'System Information' -> 'Product Information'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=RmvvrANouVI

3. Look in the BIOS (Press F2 repeatedly when you first see the Vaio logo on startup)

4. Look on the original packaging if you still have it.

If you can't find it you can try phoning Sony Support to see if they can identify your Vaio from the S/N but you should be able to find it yourself unless the Vaio won't start.

Alternatively, you can post the specifications (processor, graphics, storage etc) and we will try to narrow down the model.
