XQD, 128GB CARD RECOVERY, ERROR CODE NEEDS MORE APPLICATION MEMORY

hi there is a fault with my SONY XQD CARD whilst I've been taking photos on the Nikon D850.

I am trying to recover the images via image recovery software provided by sony MC File Rescue .

However just before the end the error code on my mac book, comes up as follows

YOUR SYSTEM OUT OF APPLICATION MEMORY

I have rung Apple and they have advised to shut down my applications which I did,

Can anyone help figure out what I can do please ?
