I have the following problem: I installed a clean version of Win 10 Pro and then I can no longer install Sony Vaio control centers. It keeps giving me an error like this: you have a newer version and it doesn't install anymore. I've been looking for that newer version, but it doesn't exist. This error occurs to me when I wanted to install Soni Vaio Center for the first time (after formatting the hard drive). So there was no way to install an even newer version on my laptop (version VPCSE2V9E). The ASSIST and VAIO buttons no longer work either.
