I have a Vaio VGN-NW20EF volume meter bar problem, help please?

Hi,

I have a VAIO, the model VGN-NW20EF and when I try to change the volume, the sound goes up and down but the bar that comes up at the bottom of the screen does not appear?

Any help on how i can get it back up?

Are you still using the original Sony version of Windows 7?

Have you installed the latest versions of Sony Shared Library and Vaio Event Service?

If you have already installed these, it may be worth installing the latest versions again to see if it helps.
