It is 2011 Z series ultraportable laptop. OS is on Windows 7.</P><P></P><P>When I connect an external monitor's cable to the laptop - it does not automatically switch to it. I have to do Fn+F7 or Windows+P button. The same happens when I disconnect the external monitor cable - it does not switch back automatically.</P><P></P><P>I read an article where it says that in VAIO Control Centre I should go to Plug&amp;Display section where I can fix it - but I don't have this section in my VAIO Control Centre software. I also thought of downloading Sony Notebook Setup software from Sony website, but it does not run on my laptop (gives a dll error).</P><P></P><P>I would be thankful for any suggestions on how to make this monitor switching automatic.
