Driver for Sony DRU-800A

I am installing Windows 7 and the MS software is calling for the driver for my Sony DVD/CD drive type DRU-800A. The user manual does not mention this but says that you can download the latest firmware from www.sonydigital-link.com/osd/ but I cannot find it there. Please advise

That is odd as the Windows 7 Compatibility Center says it is compatible and installs without additional software.

Hi David, when you open up device manager, are you getting a yellow question mark with the DVD drive plugged in? If no, you are all good to go.
