How long is warranty for Z2 if buying from Sony online store

John Lewis offers a 2-year warranty on Xperia Z2 tablets, but I'd prefer to buy from Sony's online store due to their offer of a free charger. I looked briefly at the Sony website yesterday and couldn't easily find information on their warranty. Today, their store website is unavailable, although they are offering a 5% discount if I order tomorrow.

I've tried ringing various Sony contact numbers today, to find pre-sales support, and also rang my local Sony shop, but I ended up either being disconnected or going round in circles. Can anyone help me by letting me know how long the warranty is if I buy direct from Sony?

Hi there and welcome to the Community

I believe Sony were offering a 3 year warranty for an extra 1p up until the 24th March.

I think its best you wait until the store is back up and running tomorrow

to find out the latest Warranty deals, just in case

Yes Jumpy you are/were correct..

Oddly the Sony mobile site does not seem to have the offer above instead they are offering a free Magnetic Charging Dock DK39..

So it might be worth checking both sites tomorrow to see which is offering the best deal..:smileywink:

I got the 1p charging dock deal instead
