HT-S2000 soundbar Switching itself off

Purchased the HT-S2000 today.

was playing some music through it and after a while “PRCT” (think it said that), came up on display and soundbar switched itself off.. it happened more than once.

what does it mean, and how can I stop it happening?

I think it may mean ‘PROTECT’, and the soundbar is switching itself off to avoid damage.

Typically, this would be the result of playing it way too loudly.

But if you aren’t doing that, it may be faulty from new 😢

Depending on where you bought it from, can you get any dealer support?

You may get a better answer from someone else on here, though, maybe somebody who has one.

But if not, try asking Sony directly.
