BDV-E870 Music Shuffle

I have connected my Home Cinema BDV-E870 to my LAN (via a wireless Ethernet bridge) and can now access photos and music from my computer as well as the Internet.

My KDL-46NX703 TV does this wirelessly but requires the HDMI Return channel to be used for the audio channel which unfortuately disables the Sky Dolby Digital via the Optical cable.

Negatively, the Home Cinema BDV-E870 doesn't allow music to be shuffled and can only be played linear from start to finish. The KDL-46NX703 TV music user interface is much better and does allow tracks to be shuffled.

Is it possible for the Home Cinema BDV-E870 to have the shuffle feature?

Positively, the Home Cinema BDV-E870 does play the streamed music via all 6 speakers which does sound better than the 2 speakers from the TV using the HDMI Return channel.

Is it possible for the Home Cinema BDV-E870 to use all 6 speakers for the TV input when using the HDMI Return channel?
