Yes, the Sigma 20–200 and the Tamron 25–200 are available, and yes, I could buy them. But why should I? I trust Sony and I want genuine Sony lenses.
A modern 20-55, 20-120, 24–105 or 24–240 would go straight into my shopping basket. The competition is showing us how it can be done.
My request to Sony: give us an innovative, fast travel zoom with an aperture of f/2.8. I’d love to remain loyal to you, but you’re really making it difficult for me at the moment.
