how to turn on 4k mode

i have a movie in 4K format

however , when i open it with the built-in video software ,  sound cannot be played .  The audio coding is  DD+.

when i use a third-party player  (like "kodi"), it cannot turn on the 4K mode

so,how can i watch the 4k movie in 4k mode

If the audio track is not compatible then your best bet is a video converter tool which allows transcoding of the audio only, rather than the video as well because doing the latter can be extremely time consuming. I'm on a Mac and use Smart Converter Pro.

That said, all the 4k movies I have tried have played perfectly. Whether you could tell the difference between 4k and 1080p however, is a moot point.
