How do i transfer my pics from my old samsungs8 to my new Sony

Hi @Tily and congratulations on your new Xperia phone! 

The easiest way to transfer your photos from your old phone to your new one is to use Google Photos app, which is Googles app specially dedicated to backup photos and videos. The app is pre-installed in your Xperia 10 and if I am not mistaken it should also be pre-installed on your samsung. 

You can save photos from the photos app to the internal memory one by one, but as this might be a bit tedious work if you have a bunch of photos, I have found that the easiest thing to do is to open photos through a browser and download the photos from there.

Open chrome > Enter https://photos.google.com/ > Mark the photos that you want to save to the internal storage > Tap the menu icon (three vertical dots) in the top right corner > Tap Download.

You can also do this using Bluetooth connection, which is fast for bulk photo transfer
