Hello everyone and thank you for showing interest in the Xperia 10!
The Xperia 10 is available in select markets from February 25th.
For availability in your market, please visit your Local Sony Mobile website at www.sonymobile.com/products/phones.
Make sure to select your local page by clicking the country selector at the bottom left of the page.
As we know sony mobiles are not going to launch in india so what if we order from other countries? Will it be legal? If yes what about network here in india and the charger? Will it be supported? what about service and warranty? Has any one ordered sony mobile from abroad? I am just curious.. Please reply
It will be legal.
However to claim warranty you will have to go to the country where the device originates.
For instance a Taiwanese device can claim warranty in Taiwan, not in India.
Hi @Jazz911,
I'm not expert on the laws in India, however I doubt that it would be illegal to import a smartphone from another country.
Below you can see the supported bands for the different versions of the Xperia 10. but I have no idea if the specific model will need to be enabled in the network by the operators, or if it will work straight away.

As @Strampke mentioned, the warranty will only be valid in the country/market where the device was purchased, as there is no global warranty and the device has to be launched in the market where you want it serviced.
The charger will depend on where you buy the device from, if you buy it from the US it will be US plug.
I hope that helps!

Hi @JennD2, welcome to our community!
If you go to www.sonymobile.com it should transfer you the website for your region > tap on "Phones" and if the Xperia 10 is listed here, it will most likely be released in your region and you can get in touch with different retailers to see if they have it in stock.
