I have just upgraded to mac Siri and now find that I cannot download pics from my a6000 into playmemories, would be grateful for answers.

PlayMemories Home is compatible with Mac OS X 10.9-10.11, I think you have only to attend a new release compatible with macOS 10.12 Sierra.
