Amazon Music app - when?

A few news items mentioned that Amazon Music would be released for Android TV at some point during early 2019. I've noticed that this never happened - is this still on the cards?

I was hoping that a vast array of quality apps would make up for the poor Android TV performance.

Hey, you are probably best off asking Amazon rather than here, its up to them to release an Android TV version of the app rather than anyone at Sony.

You can use the new Alexa app, it's basically built into that. The sound quality is top notch in it.

Even side-loading the version from the nvidia shield  TV they prevent from working as "not supported".

Side loading the phone version, the remote just doesn't work well.
