Bravia 4k UR3 not displaying programme information on channels

I am using the satellite channels and most aren’t displaying programme information, I have to click on a channel before it displays the information. Can anyone help please, the TV has the latest firmware

Thanks for the reply but that’s not true my TV does have Freesat and I have actually resolved my issue after reading through a previous post going back to 2014. Obviously the earlier comments weren’t relevant but a more current comment mention that disabling the Freesat, performing a reset, then re-enabling the Freesat and then scanning again for the channels would resolve the issue and indeed it did.
It took a few minutes but all the channels showed their programme information except for the top BBC channel but once I had looked at another BBC 1 channel for a different area the programme information updated.
That was yesterday and when I switched on the TV today all the programme information was still updating so from my point of view my problem is resolved.

Hi @Kreases   What is the model number of your TV? It should be something like KD-65XH8096. Earlier Sony TVs did not come with a proprietary EPG on satellite, so could not use the FreeSat EPG for example.

2020, but not Freesat. You have the limitations of raw satellite reception 😢

@Kreases

Glad you fixed it.

I guess we should ask Sony to update their spec for this TV, as it doesn’t mention Freesat:-
