KD85XH8096BU Unable to change Aspect ratio , screen menus greyed out

Hello I have a 2020 Sony 85 inch KD85XH8096BU , and on any input, TV, streaming or blu ray input the screen menu shows locked in 4:3 , when playing modern blu rays or UHD DISCS I do display in 16:9 ok but with older films that are filmed in 4:3 I would like to stretch the image to remove left and right black bars, but I’m not able to do this as the wide menu, screen menu etc are all unavailable. Anyone know how to resolve this annoying feature? I understand that distortion and picture detail on the upper part or lower part of the image maybe lost but I would like the choice all the same. I appreciate your reply but I have to say that the into which Sony have made available dose not alter the aspect ratio ie you cannot zoom the picture to fit the screen so that the black lines on the stay on.It seems like Sony have miss it off.Not happy😒☹️
