My Sony tv is in an outhouse connected to a cable via LAN back to BT router (Fairly new version 6). TV has connected to the internet a few times for 3 day periods then stops When I change Cable into connection port in back of router it works for 3 days then stops. I have now run out of new ports and old ports no longer seem to connect.
I have rebooted tv.
I have tested cable and fine.
I have turned off WiFi, especially as signal is too weak (thus the cable).
do I need to set a static up address in tv setup?
any ideas?
