What the best settings for taking a macro picture with theHX90v? Everytime I try a close up its out of focus tried depressing the capture button half way does not seem to make a difference. Must be doing something wrong but manual does not help ?

Hi,

I suppose you're too close to the object - try to step back a little.

As there's no dedicated macro lens on HX90 I guess you need a distance of at least 3ft.

Also as a tip: do not zoom in if you want the closest focusing distance
