RX10M4

I have recently purchased the rX10M4 and so far very happy with it.

But I am having a very senior moment regarding hot shoe adaptor. Which one do I require to use with my older existing flashguns and trigger units, is it the ADP-MAA or the ADP-AMA?

TIA

ADP-MAA adapt oldest flashes to newer cameras.

ADP-AMA adapt newer flashes to oldest cameras.

Where:

  - newer has MI shoe interface

  - older has auto-lock shoe interface (ex Minolta)

Thanks for the reply.

From the picture I don`t  think any of my accessories would fit the MAA version so it looks like I require the AMA. version.

🤔

You are wrong.

RX10M4 has for sure MI shoe. So, if you have some old sony/minolta flash with autolock shoe you need for ADP-MAA.

Otherwise you don’t have a compatible sony/minolta accessories

I have a Godox TT350o (Olympus-I will buy a Sony version) and I want to use my Cactus V6 & V6ii transceiver units.IMG_1848.JPGIMG_1849.JPG

But this is nota a sony shoe!

It's a multi-system shoe of cactus, it work (usually) with Nikon, Canon or Pentax. Not Sony, nor Sony/Minolta.

You should try an adapter like Pixel-TF-334, but I can't say if it work in your configuration.
