Good afternoon,
Today my phone has been turning itself off constantly. It takes around 5 times of turning it back on to get it to stay on. Whenever I turn it on by the time it gets to the home screen it comes up immediately that it is powering off.
I have tried taking the sim out and it still does it, I don't have a SD card in the phone either.
Please help as I only bought this in January and have no back up!
Thanks!

I have the SAME issue with my E5. Not to mention that I also have a Bravia T.V. and keeps rebooting when it's turned off (which means a long time waiting to be turned on and taking wi-fi conection). It's really annoying
I have my E5 since 5 months ago and the T.V. since 8 months ago. The reboot thing with the T.V. has happened since the beginning and de E5 one over the last month.
I also figured out that happens specially while charging at random battery levels. It happens a few times a day.

I have the same problem, some days it works perfectly, others it Just keeps turning off all day. I have it since the third of January and before that month was over I was sending it back to the store, after 3 months of being in warranty, they say it's fine. But obviously is not. I'm so happy that I found this Forum so I can show them that it is a product malfunction. Truth is they told me to take a video when the problem happens but how I'm I supposed to be video taping my own Phone all Day. I had alot of Sony products over the years, but this one has been the worst. But the way I did follow the troubleshooting procedures given in this forum, and nothing worked.

I have been experiencing this for 2 days now, my phone switching off randomly, maybe a couple to 5 times an hour. I can also relate to it turning off mid launch as well as while the sim card was removed. I had performed the reboot using the sony companion on my laptop and was happy to see it was fine for a few hours before turning off again. The phone is still under waranty luckily, but i would prefer to recieve a solition to this issue from sony so i can fix it at home.
