I sent my a77 to sony for a repair that i thought would be free of charge. My screen had developed a smear like the anti reflective coating had worn off. This happened when i used the camera on a hot day and sweat from my face rubbed against the lcd. I have owned many sony cameras and this has never happened before.
I received an invoice for £117 and decided that i would not pay that much to repair something that i saw as a factory manufacturing fault.
They sent my camera back yesterday unrepaired. So much for goodwill.
I'm going back to canon. Sony are never having my business ever again
