I've recently had a new TV, previous was connected via optical cable with no issue.
This one is connected via HDMI, it is in the ARC port, but every now and then when I turn on the TV the soundbar isn't recognised and plays no sound.
The only fix so far is to unplug, remove HDMI, plug back in and then go through the peripheral set up on the TV. However, I have to do this every 3/4 times I turn on the tv because the soundbar reverts back to being sound less!
Any permanent fix or reason as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
TV model is Samsung UE55NU8000
Hi @W322AL
You would have to contact Support about this as they are best suited to providing any recovery
software and detailed instructions you would need. (If there are any.)
There's an example of the procedure required for an older model in this thread:
Support contact details are Here but they are closed until Monday a.m. now.
Let us know what they say.
Cheers
