BDV-E3100 'simulate' 5.1?
Hello, does anyone know if on the BDV-E3100 there is a way to either simulate 5.1 audio or at least pipe left and right channels to the rear speakers from a stereo input?
I would prefer that, at my choosing, audio came from all my speakers instead of just the front three. When watching TV I find this helpful, especially when listening to speech. My hearing ain't so grand...Any tips?
Steve

Hi there
Try experimenting with the Sound Effects until you find one that is most suitable for you
(On Page 49 of the manual : Here)
For example:
[Dolby Pro Logic]: The system simulates
surround sound from 2-channel sources
and outputs sound from all speakers
(5.1 channel) (Dolby Pro Logic decoding).
However, I believe the exact one you were probably looking for is something called Multi-Channel Stereo - Which unfortunately is not supported on your system.
Cheers.
