I have a HT-CT291 soundbar with subwoofer connected to a Samsung smart TV through the HDMI ARC port. I have a Nintendo Switch connected to the same TV. When I use the Switch, firstly, the sound does not play through the soundbar. Secondly, after the Switch has been used, the soundbar does not work at all. It doesn't turn on and off with the TV and it doesn't play sound whatever input to the TV is used. The only solution I have found so far is to turn off everything - the TV, the soundbar and everything connected to the TV at the mains and then switch it all back on. It takes ages for everything to boot up again.
Additionally, when I switch the TV out of standby, the soundbar switches on, but it doesn't play the sound from the TV until I turn it off and on again.
This is all really annoying. Can anyone suggest a way of making it work as it should?
