ISSUE playing 3d from USB

I own the Sony 5.1-Ch. 3D / Smart Blu-ray Home Theater System

Model: BDVE3100

When I attempt to play my 3d movie from my USB jump drive, the movie plays in a split screen, but it will not play the screens together. I tried to click 'OPTIONS' --> "3D Menu" but when I get to the 3D Menu the only choice available is "Simulated 3D". "3D Depth Adjustment" and "2D Playback" are both grayed out and unable to access.

What do I need to do to turn on the Sony blu-ray player's 3D feature and watch the movie with the screens joined, not split?

Have you tried to adjust the 3d options on the TV instead of the player? It should work (or at least it does on bdps5100/kdl42W805) letting stream the movie split from bluray to tv and then forcing the TV to get it as a 3d flow
