Presently have a wired DVD  Pioneer surround sound working with this TV. I wish to change to a sound bar, in order to be wireless. Will a 5.1 soundbar work with this TV? and can I still use any of my current system in some way. My main aim is to have the sound bar replace the speakers and ideally still be able to use the DVD.

So you would like to use the DVD player but not the surround sound of your Pioneer system, and connect a 5.1 soundbar to your KDL32W705C?
