Sony HT ST5000 Audio Output settings resetting every time

Hello,

I just bought a HT ST5000 Soundbar.

Very happy with the sound, excellent soundbar overall.

I'm just confronted to a small issue:
I connect the soundbar to a projector, through the HDMI output port (it's not always connected). When the bar goes in sleep mode and wake up, the sound is sent to the projector instead of staying in the bar.

I can also see that the "Audio Settings">"Audio Output" settings is always reset to "Speaker+HDMI" instead of sticking to "Speaker" only.

Is there a way to make this settings sticky between restart?
Is there another way to make the bar understand that I always want it to be the speaker?

Hi Olivier,

If you disconnect the projector then the soundbar resets the settings, because the projector is no longer recognized. This is normal behavior. The only option is to keep the projector connected.

Hello Owen,

It does not really help, but I guess I'm in a special corner case where I don't have my projector connected all the time.

Anyway this setting could be sticky? (even when you connect/disconnect displays)
