hi there, few days ago my Bravia KDL-40EX503 went dead, no standby led when plugged in, this happened after a thunder storm, I have protected it with E.ON Surge protector, and my PS3 is working fine. I suspect that the surge came through the antenna cable. Now I need some expert advice, I have been looking for Power supply boards and Main boards on ebay and other online shops, I got few which have been taken out of a working TV with cracked screen, but the problem is whichever matches with the tv model don't match with the board's part number and when the part number matches then no match with the TV model.
I want to know what do I need to look for, Board Part number match or TV Model match?
