WWE Network app for Bravia KDL-55W829B

Hi

The WWE Network has been officially launched in the UK (http://www.wwe.com/wwenetwork/watch-in-united-kingdom-26927624) and they say that it is accessible via Bravia Smart TVs.

I have a Bravia KDL-55W829B brought in November but when I look through the list of apps I cannot see the WWE Network app.

I have tried refreshing the internet content and I have no issues with other apps (I use Amazon Instant Video and YouTube).

Is there something I doing wrong?

Hi there

Just had a check, it appears that only US Smart TVs are supporting the WWE app.  See the WWE supported device list :

At the moment, it appears that Sony Bluray players are supported (as the model numbers also match UK model numbers).

Also, when I visit: http://www.wwe.com/wwenetwork  There is an asterix next to Sony.  Having a look further on the page, it says " *Additional Smart TVs coming soon ".  So I can only conclude that the app for the TV is still in development for UK as its only just come online for the UK, however other UK devices are supported.

My advice, give it time.  Also doesnt hurt to contect WWE themselves to find out how long roughly it will take.

I'm having exactly the same issue. I have several Sony products (BDV-N590 home theater, KDL-55W905A TV and BDPS1200 blu ray player) and cannot find the WWE app anywhere on any of these. 

WWE website sayys the BDPS1200 should get it. 

Lets just hope Sony are a little behind releasing it and it shows up in the next couple of days.

I also have the BDPS1200 bluray player that is listed as being supported on the WWE network page but the WWE network app is not available. This is really frustrating as it looks like no UK Sony TVs or bluray players are working with the WWE Network. I have emailed WWE but have not got a reply. Looks like I will be cancelling my network subscription 😞

HI @simonob007  and @martinhurrell 

The WWE Application should now be available on your TV's.  Please do a 'Refresh Network Content' and then go into Applications.  You should see it.

Yep works on the BDP-S1200 just not on my other two devices. Surprising really considering the BDP-S1200 is by far the cheapest Sony device I have. But thats a start hopefully will follow soon on the other devices.

Thanks for the heads up. Yes it is working on my bluray but not yet on my TV, hopefully the TV app will come soon but I am happy to use the bluray player while we wait.

Why isn't it on the 2015 andriod.
