Hey all, I have a similar problem with my Sony Vaio laptop, Windows 7 pre-installed.
The camera is not working in any applications although this was not the case a few weeks ago.
When I am attempting to use it I have a black screen. I tried opening it up with Arc Magic-I bbut I get a message telling me that it has been disabled by another application even though I can't find any other application doing this.
Any help would be appreciated!!
Have you done any changes to your anti-virus programs? I had that same problem and when I changed my anti-virus program the camera started to work again. Some part of the anti-virus was propably blocking the camera application.
