How do I get a VGP-PRS2 docking station to work with my S3XP?

I have the above, and have only just tried to "connect" them. My previous Vaio/docking station worked perfectly. With the present one nothing happens! They are physically linked, but there seems to be no connection - nada! The Vaio doesn't even get power from the port replicator when it is plugged into the power supply.

Am I missing something simple? Do I need to do anything to the S3XP to get it to "talk" to the port replicator? Is there a software tweak somewhere?:smileysilly:

Hi,

I actually have 2 docking stations - neither of which i have ever used. I've just tried the 2nd one, and it worked - hey presto!:smileyhappy: The first one will be going to the Great Recycling Centre. So no special drivers or tweaks required - its Plug&Play.
