Laptop error VUagent.exe

I have recently started to get an error message that the VUagent.exe has stopped working, does anyone know what this could mean?

Hi graham_paul,

VUagent.exe is part of Vaio Update. Have you checked the Vaio Support site for an updated version?

I am also facing this issue of the error message that the VUagent.exe has stopped working. I am using the Lenovo Laptop ThinkPad E570. when i was facing the rebooting issue of the laptop i visit Lenovo support and found the solution on it. but i don't know how to fix this provide the solution.

I am working on Acer Laptop and the same issue I am also facing as again and again I am getting an Error VUagent.exe has stopped working. I also tried on Acer Technical Support, where I found very useful information regarding Acer.
