No Power on laptop

Hi,

My Vaio (VPCCB2M0E) has lost all power - no led light even. Power pack is fine and have swapped that around to double check. Have followed trouble shooting advice (taken battery out, taken power cord out, pressed power button for 10 seconds, plugged power cord back in) and still no joy.

Any ideas what could be wroing? I'm desparate to get a dissertation that's being worked on off there (no back-up 😞 )

Yep - phoned Sony who put me onto a local company for assessment and repair. Turns out its the motherboard that needs replacing - in excess of £400. A new laptop instead I think!
