Hi Sony community,
I want to buy a new VPCL14 all in one computer.
The PC has an analog video input, but in the description guide say:
" The video input can not make recordings."
Is this true??
My 3 years old pc VPC L1TM can analog recording with the sony programm VAIO CONTENT IMPORTER.
Is this function or program not more available?
Thanks for good tips!
Welcome.
The video-in jack on the VPCL14 Vaios, like the HDMI-in jack, is not connected through the video card to the computer at all and cannot be used to capture video. The purpose of this connection is simply to display video on the L14's screen without having to boot up the Vaio - so you can use the screen as a monitor for a games console or analogue video player or camera.
If you need analogue video capture on this model, you will need to buy a USB video capture device. These are quite cheap these days.
Many thanks for the message,
but now If I decide me for a next generation Vaio VPCL14,
I need a second usb device to video capture.
It is unfortunatly true.
