my wife had a problem with her keyboard recently, and the ribbon cable is damaged (enthusiastic amateur husband attempting repair :smileyrolleyes:). Apparently it isn't possible to replace just the ribbon, but it has to be the whole keyboard. I can't get a UK keyboard where I am at the moment so was thinking of getting a repair shop to simply place the keys from the UK board such as the 3/£ key onto a US keyboard. Has anyone tried replacing individual keys before on this model, and if so, is my idea feasible?
