will itunes 10 run on sony vaio vgnnw20ef/s?

I am thinking of buying a sony vaio vgnnw20ef/s, basically so my son can do a bit of home work but essentially as he had a ipod touch from Father Christmas (wink wink nudge nudge) and this needs itunes 10 to run, however our current mac operating system is too old!

Here are the minimum specs needed for iTunes..
