Hi all,
I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm trying to pair my WH-1000XM3 to my smart TV but it's not happening. The headphones are already paired to my phone, but I'm trying to pair them to my smart TV but NOT to use at the same time (I.e sometimes I want the headphones connected to my phone, other times to the TV).
I've tried turning Bluetooth off on my phone but then, when I hold the power button to try and put the headphones into pairing mode they just turn off. If I leave Bluetooth on my phone, then they just remain paired to my phone so I can't pair to the TV.
I've done endless Google searches but I just feel like I'm going around in circles.
Any advice would be much appreciated !!
Thanks
But first, your TV can Pair the Headphones?
Your TV model is?
Thanks foe the reply, sorry I only just got a notification for it.
I'm not sure of the exaxact model but it's an LG smart TV which has the option to change sound output to wireless headphones....once they're paired up.
Thanks
I also have just bought a pair of these headphones and had no luck with pairing them to my new Sony TV. It seems my new expensive TV has not the in built capability to do this. The only ways of achieving a bluetooth pairing was to either buy a "One for All" Audio Transmitter which plugs into the back of your TV or there is a possibility of downloading certain apps to help install a dedicated Bluetooth Pairing app. I bought the gizmo to plug in the back of the TV (Audio jack and USB port for power.) It works very well. Not sure if this info helps with your setup.
