Subject: EQ Preset Suggestion for the WF-1000XM6
Hello Sony team,
I recently created a custom sound profile for my WF-1000XM6 that I found particularly impressive, and I wanted to share it as potential feedback for future updates to the Sony | Sound Connect app.
My EQ settings are:
31 Hz: 0 dB
63 Hz: -2 dB
125 Hz: -3 dB
250 Hz: -1 dB
500 Hz: 0 dB
1 kHz: +1 dB
2 kHz: +2 dB
4 kHz: +3 dB
8 kHz: +4 dB
16 kHz: +6 dB
I also use OReality in Immersive mode.
What I particularly like about this combination is that the low frequencies remain deep but controlled, while the gradual increase in the upper frequencies gives vocals, instruments and high-frequency details much more clarity and air. The Immersive mode also adds a wider sense of space.
I tested the profile with several tracks, and I was especially impressed by the result on “A variety of songs”. It made me think that a similar sound signature could be interesting as an official preset in the Sony | Sound Connect app.
I understand that EQ preferences are subjective, but I thought this configuration might be worth testing by your audio team.
