Hi,
Yesterday evening I changed GPS setup from the highest accuracy to "only GPS" and then back. Then the GPS didn't work at all. It doesn't work on Pokemon, Ingress, Google maps... There were no updates at the same time. I tried it on this morning and still the GPS is not working. The latest updates were after this GPS bug or 7day before it, so it seems that the applications are not the reason for that. I didn't drop the phone, only changed the setups.
I have booted the phone several times. I have removed some applications which use GPS and rebooted it again. I downloaded GPS Status & Toolbox and tried with that but it doesn't find GPS. And YES the location is on and the battery is charged so the reason is not with shutting down the GPS for battery saving.
Is the only way to fix this the factory reset? I don't want to do that >.<
