Android 4.3 Update. BUGS.

After the update, and using the new 4.3 on my Xperia M, i've detected some bugs. Please share yours too.

- Google Now using home button. Only works one or two times then it stops working. 

- Themes. No able to install. Waiting new firmware update for correction.

- Transparent clock bar and menu, sometimes dont get the transparency. Mine is black now, even after i've restore it with SUS.

- SMS. Keyboard sometimes stops and get a little bit slow while typing.

- Even with sync mode on, Gmail isnt getting emails quickly.

- Camera sometimes keeps out of focus. 

- Clear audio stops working properly. 

- Songs jumping or freezing in walkman player.

- Album app trys to use full screen mode as in other versions but the notifications bar keeps poping.

- Meteo Widget. Font type sometimes changes to a smaller one, than a bigger one when moving from one screen to another.

(all this problems weren't solved witj Pc companion or SUS restore)

i faced with some others :

no sound for SMS notification

2 main problem:

bad and continual focus when recording video cause mat and bad video

no app2SD with low storage

- some headphones aren't working with Xperia M anymore, when they are connected the internal loudspeaker of the phone goes on playing. This concerns headphones with remote control functions that used to work before.

- the gallery widget often hangs and needs a lot of time to display the pictures and movies

- I'm not quite sure, but it seems as if Bluetooth Smart (BLE) is not supported although that's one of the main festures of Android 4.3. Can anyone who is in possession of a Bluetooth smart device (like Heart Rate Monitor) confirm this?

- camera focus while filming is changing all the time, the recorded videos are unusable because of this

- battery is draining faster than with Android 4.1

Bluetooth LE doesn't seem to be supported. Which is a shame

Some BLE apps say they are unsupported right from the app store itself. Some get installed but say BLE is not supported once started.

Real shame that this feature is missing, since the hardware is available and now has 4.3 too.

Another bug - the camera option which appears on sliding the clock to left appears even when PIN lock is enabled but does not do anything. Ideally it should not show up.

Apart from these major issues I encountered there was one that i really hated.

The recovery password in case you forgot the lock pattern is missing. This bugs me too much as i really liked it and now in 4.3  it takes us back to the old school email and password verification in case we forget the pattern. Hope this issue is solved.

I found that anoing too.
Since the last post I've detected:
- unknown is showed in some calls even if the contact exists in the agenda
-if picture is too big in size could not be put as wallpaper on SMS app
-low memory in Xperia m is not showing anymore so it doesn't scare you
-display still has a bad calibration. Wondering if Sony could apply a setting like z1 for us to change it.
-some translation bugs in Portuguese language
-Bluetooth loves to take a break. Sometimes does not connect. PERIOD.

Yeah, man! I felt the same last week. I've searched this issue, but nonsense before find your analysis. because you know, this phone never been like this before. and, Do you think Sony still on processing to fix this bug? BTW, thanks to bring back my confident about this issue. I've been panic since last week. :smileysmileythumbsup:

Well my friend, Sony has approved one more update to our Xperia m, still not available, maybe in the end of the month. I still have some faith to see all this bugs fixed, but we really never know. As seen before in other Xperia updates, they only correct the ones they find useful. I like this phone but the screen angle and bad calibration ruins it all. It's the center of the device. We spend a lot looking at it. Even for a medium range phone they should take some attention on the details as they say they have, in some ads. New update will pop soon. We hope with some good news for us. Cheers. 🙂

Video recording in low light is very very bad,it recording with very slow fps,please fix this.

I presume that the camera light could not be fixed. It's based on its sensor. It's not the top of its class. Hope some more improvements could make the different.
