does anyone know how to get the bluetooth working on the X10 mini

I turned on the bluetooth on the phone and paired it with another phone but  the phone says paired but not connected. Ive tryed to recive pictures but my other phone will not connect. Spoke to orange but they weren't much help they told me to take the battery out. Ive done everything i can think of and nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me ........THANKS
